Aga Khan University AKU

Aga Khan University is the largest private sector university in Pakistan. This university was established in 1983 and its main campus is in Karachi while it has teaching hospitals in UK and the countries of African Great Lakes. The university offers education from BA/ BSC to PhD level while many colleges in Karachi, other parts of Pakistan and also in Tanzania are affiliated with AKU for the higher level of education. AKU is especially known for its research work in the biomedical field and it is a world renowned and acclaimed university. Faculty members of the university are promoted on the basis of their publications of research papers in famous journals due to which its standard is higher than other universities.

Aga Khan University starts admissions according to a schedule while the admission process of new students starts couple of months before the start of the new academic year. Past performance of students and their performance in the entry test and interview are judged for the admission of student in AKU.

As it is said before that AKU has high standard and it maintains and enhance its standard of education by change in its paper pattern and syllabus almost every year. The students can know about the new syllabus and paper pattern through model papers which they can take from the official site of the board. Students can also take past papers of AKU from market which are useful for knowing about the important questions in the exams.

Aga Khan University shows the date sheet at its website two months before the start of the exams of the respective class. These date sheets provide examinational schedule to the students. Roll number slips inform students about their roll numbers, examination venue and other important things and they are mailed by the university to the students one month earlier than the exams. After three or four months of the exams, AKU announces results which are available at the site of AKU soon after the result announcement while result cards can be received by the students at their home few days after their results.
